The Headwaters Science Center of Bemidji has agreed to be a test environment for the development of our new software. In the coming months we will be integrating a server into their network of roughly a half dozen computers running a mix of Windows XP and OS X. This will give them faster and simpler access to their files, reassurance that regular backups are being performed, and an easy way to control access to specific files. By developing this solution in an actual production environment, we can respond quickly to customer feedback and make sure we are developing the most effective solution possible.

We were also able to help them line up the donation of some new computers and offer them some help with their email. In due time, we will most likely be helping the science center migrate from their legacy email system to a more robust solution that will give them better tools to manage their email and fight spam.
